Marcel

I had brunch at Marcel and overall it was a pleasant experience. I ordered the avocado toast with coffee — the toast came with smooth avocado, feta, and a fried egg. It was good, but I wish the menu mentioned that it contains onion, as that would be helpful to know in advance. The ambience is very cozy and welcoming, and one thing I really appreciated is that you don’t have to wait in a long queue — there’s usually space available. The location is also super practical, just a short walk from Le Bon Marché. Service was kind and attentive. A nice brunch spot in the neighborhood!

Restorative dinner at Marcel after a tiring afternoon of shopping. First time dining here following a recommendation from a friend who lives nearby. We thought the food was great and loved the vast number of salad options! We had a Caesar salad, green bowl and fried chicken and all was delicious. Dining room is beautiful but be warned the tables are very close to one another. On this night we were only one of three tables dining so we didn’t have any neighbours. Worth stopping by if you are in the neighbourhood.

We happened to walk past by this place the day before. It was full of people and looked really good. Decided to try it today and i am glad we did. Food was excellent and the portions are BIG. Fresh ingredients and pleasant service was everything we needed for a nice start for the day!
